In-stock products first
In each collection you turn on, products whose every variant is sold out move below every product that can still be bought.
Restocks float back
When a sold-out product is restocked, it returns to the place it had before.
Nothing hidden, theme untouched
Products are never hidden, unpublished, tagged or edited. Only the order inside the collection changes.
Runs by itself
Inventory changes are picked up within about a minute, and a nightly check covers anything missed.

Questions about InStock First
Does it work with collections sorted by Best selling?
Shopify can only reorder products in manually sorted collections. The app explains this first, then keeps the order shoppers see with sold-out products at the end. Turning it off switches the collection back to its rule.
Does it read my orders or customers?
No. It reads products, inventory and collections only, and stores no customer data.
When is a product sold out?
When every one of its variants is tracked, at zero sellable quantity, and not set to keep selling when out of stock.
